Many of you will be aware that the Portland Group; supply chain consultants have been doing work inside some Jeminex companies. As a result of this work it has been decided to focus our supply chain activities under one roof in a new Jeminex division to be referred to as Jeminex Logistics Services (JLS). This will give rise to a new organisation chart (see attached) which will come into effect early in the New Year. JLS will provide logistics services to the Jeminex Group in particular the Industrial and Safety companies with the objective to improve the efficiency of our supply chain and service levels to our customers. Currently a search is underway for a person to fill a new position of General Manager – Jeminex Logistics Services. This position will report directly to me and I hope an appointment will be made in early 2011.
This initiative follows the decision recently to set up Share Services at Wetherill Park which will centralise Jeminex finance and administration and IT; reporting to Dean Taylor.
During the past year Jeminex has achieved a number of important milestones in its evolution and is well placed to capitalise on the opportunities that lie ahead. I would like to thank you all for your contribution to our success this year and wish you and your family a relaxing and safe holiday. The 2011 year holds enormous promise for Jeminex and I’m confident that with the team we have we will continue our march forward next year.
